It was another fabulous day in Jerusalem. Exhausting -- but it wouldn't be Jerusalem without sore feet! Seanna, Kelly, and I left at 8:30 to walk the walls.

We met Patti, Chris, and the Cuttings at 10:30 in the Jewish Quarter to finish the morning with shopping. It was a profitable and enjoyable time together.

Lunch was at the Fountain Cafe (not as good as the schawerma yesterday -- thanks for the new place, Andre). Then we headed to the Western Wall for some last photo's. It was nice to j
ust stand in the plaza for a bit and soak it all in.

Then we went down (walking.....way down, by the way) to try to find the new excavations done at the Pool of Siloam. Long was down. Long way up. But enjoyable. Ended in the City of David (our sixteenth national park, by the way -- a record for Andre). But didn't have our entrance passes. Too bad.

Taxi back to the hotel. Dinner is at 6:30. Bags out at 3 am. Bus leaves at 3:30 am for the airport. Have to be there by 4:30 am for our 7:40 am flight to London. The Takahashi's are leaving just now (4:30 pm in Jerusalem). The rest of us will be home on Monday evening. Exhausted. Exhilarated. Glad to be home, but missing the land.
